The song is about one of the topics that inspires me most to write: unrequited love. I was infatuated with this person that wasn't equally infatuated with me. This feeling of longing for something that seems unreachable throws you back to yourself in a very profound way. Alex Päffgen's piano and Zakhar Zaytsev's double bass catch the melancholic air of this track in the most beautiful way. As well as Bernhard Range's synths. Him and Alex were also a great help to bring out the sadness and loneliness of the song. Bernhard with very beautiful ideas for my vocal percussions and over all it was very inspiring to work with him on this piece and Alex input gave us the last tipp, when he told us to think about the choirs I recorded for the choruses of the song. He said: 'It's a song about loneliness and the very specific feeling of one person. Maybe it is good to focus on one main vocal.' So we did it and the effect was exactly what the Song needed.

Surja Ahmed's Camera and lighting and Sabrina Schray's Editing also mirror on the melancholy of the track.
